About Our Priest
Fr. John McCausland has been the vicar (pastor) of Holy Cross since1997. He has a special passion for small churches, where people get to know one another as family. Living in town, he plays an active role in the life of the community. He serves currently as one of the Trustees of Trust Funds of the Town of Weare and has been a member of the board and president of the Piscataquog Land Conservancy, a regional land trust. He enjoys country living, gardening, hiking, outdoor recreation, and most of all being with people.
Much of the vicar’s time is spent in pastoral work and visiting people to get to know and to support them. His wife Anne is a therapist in Concord, specializing in child and family work. The McCauslands have two grown daughters and two grandchildren.You are welcome to call our vicar John, Fr. John, Fr. McCausland or Vicar.
